Ryan works with district partners to realize their mission of engaging critical thinkers to become the problem-solvers of tomorrow. Before joining Mystery.org, Ryan was a school administrator in California, and he has spent his career looking for ways to inspire students’ love of learning. Ryan is also a national speaker, training schools and districts in Common Core implementation, personalized learning, and Design Thinking. When Ryan isn't working on fabulous Mystery Science content, you can find him playing the role of a glorified Uber for his children.
DE Teaching & Learning Team
Erica began her professional career in business development and transitioned into education more than 13 years ago. She started as a fifth-grade science teacher for ELL students and later became a STEAM coach in Naples, FL. She's worked as a national STEAM and teacher leadership consultant with Discovery Education.
DE Partner Success Team
With 12 years of public education experience, including serving as an administrator, and 5 years in the EdTech Industry, Paula focuses on inspiring a L❤️VE for LEARNING for students nationally through Partner Success. She is well-versed in Curriculum and Instruction, with a deep understanding of how to build relationships that foster risk-taking for amazing implementations and student achievement.

Eric's experience as a teacher, and education visionary combine to enable him to guide our growing team of content writers and video developers. Eric is a winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching (PAEMST), and numerous other awards. Teachers and students who use Pivot Interactives benefit from Eric's experience and vision.
DE Curriculum Team
Desiree Sasko Sujoy is a Director on the Teaching & Learning team at Discovery Education. Desiree works with partners to design learning experiences with DE tools and PD that bring their district goals to life. Prior to joining Discovery Education, Desiree was a Math/Science/EdTech Coach for 5 years, and secondary Math & Science teacher for 9+ years, part of which was spent designing marine field studies courses for students at a National Undersea Research Program (NURP) center in the Exumas. Prior to her education career, Desiree was a Research Associate for NOAA/NURP, and has published papers in the Journal of Zoology on prey capture of cownose rays and the Bulletin of Marine Science on coral reef monitoring efforts.

Bina graduated from The College of New Jersey with a double major in ISTEM (Integrated Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics) and Education with a technology specialization. This unique training launched her career building a STEAM program from the ground up at Newark Public Schools. She then moved on to serve Linden Public Schools as a technology educator/coordinator and pursuing my masters degree in educational leadership. Bina is a passionate EdTech advocate at Discovery Education who loves to help school districts foster students’ love of learning!

Before joining Discovery Education, Ted spent eight years as the in-house standards expert for the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA). In this role, he supported implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), other standards based on A Framework for K–12 Science Education, and three-dimensional learning. He is the author of The NSTA Atlas of the Three Dimensions and editor of The NSTA Quick-Reference Guide to the NGSS (NSTA Press, 2014). Before joining NSTA, Ted spent twelve years at Project 2061 for the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), where he was responsible for the development of the Atlas of Science Literacy, Volume 2 (AAAS, 2007). Earlier in his career, Ted was a high school physics teacher. He has a degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The series will showcase a variety of hands-on and virtual investigations, STEM activities, and a ton of science resources for teachers to bring science to life in the classroom — all are welcome.
There is no registration fee for participating in our webinars. But you do need to register in advance to receive access.
You can access a certificate of participation for attending but it is up to your district/local jurisdiction at their discretion whether the session will fulfill credit hours.
